Why, hello!

I’m Maureen, an old punk rock lady with a couple of kids.

In 2011 I had my first son, Ryan:

And in 2015, surprise baby Graffin joined the mix:

I tend to worry a lot, which was the inspiration for my blog’s name — during the first month of motherhood, my then-husband must have told me “THE BABY IS FINE!!!” no fewer than ten thousand times as I incessantly checked on him, questioned my mothering skills, and just generally lost my mind.

You can read some of my personal favorite posts from over the years on my “best of” page (yes, I chose them myself…too self-indulgent?), or do what I do when I find a new blog I like and spend a week reading every single post in order until you feel like a creepy stalker! It’s fun, trust me.
